Maui

We've had a wonderful time this week mainly spent relaxing by the pool, reading books, going down the water slides together, using the amazing Spa Grande and generally just chilling. This place doesn't know what bad weather is. It's always so temperate and perfect, occasionally a little bit of a breeze.

Len, you'd absolutely love the Spa here. It is the best I've ever experienced. First they loofah your back for you. Then you can choose from the 6 different baths each with different herbs and essences to relax and rejuvenate. In addition there is this area where you tep into a little bath and ater drops down on your shoulders from a dizzy height. The steam room is sensational, there's a huge spa pool, etc. etc. You could spend half a day there each day.

Last night we used TripAdvisor and found a restaurant called Cafe O'Lei in nearby Kihei which was very highly rated so off we went (by taxi). The service, food and decor were all excellent so much so that it inspired me to post my first TripAdvisor review. Apart from that meal we've real enjoyed just eating at the Napua Club lounge or getting room service. Just what we needed.

Tomorrow morning we head for Honolulu and the Halekalani for 2 nights. The girls are rested and ready to hit the shops at Ala Moana and the Waikele Outlets. Benj and I are ready to hit the pool. And then on Sunday it'll be time to return home after our big adventure.
